RHUBARB COOKIES

Another score by my friend Marie! Ingredients: Ingredients: 1 ½  c rhubarb chopped with 1/4 c water cooked until tender and thick Mix together: Mix together: 1 ½  c sugar 1 c shortening 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 2 ½ c flour 1 tsp soda ½ tsp salt ½ c walnuts chopped Directions: Directions: Mix together with rhubarb. Bake at 350 for 15 min. Frosting: Frosting: 1/4 c melted butter mixed with 4 TBSP milk, 1 tsp vanilla and 2 cups of powdered sugar. Mix together and frost when cake is cool.
