Ingredients:Ingredients:1 ½ c sugar½ c shortening1 egg1 tsp vanillaMix together.Then add:Then add:1 c buttermilk (or sour milk + 1 c milk + 1 tsp vinegar)2 c flourMix well.Then add:Then add:½ tsp salt1 tsp baking sodaMix all together.Then add:Then add:4 cups rhubarb (or any fruit)Mix and then place in prepared 13x9x2 pan.Top with:Top with:1 tsp cinnamon1/3 c sugar1/3 c oatmeal1/3 c nutsMix and place on top.Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
