RALPHIE's SNICKERDOODLES

My neighbor Ralph's wife passed away years ago. She always made Ralphie these cookies when he wanted them and would bring us over some. When she passed, I decided I would make those cookies for Ralphie at Christmas. Its the only time I make them too. A batch for Ralphie and a batch for us. They are only good fresh. And boy oh boy are they ever!Ingredients:Ingredients:1/4 c sugar1 TBSP cinnamon-Mix together in a bowl and set aside.1 ½  c sugar½  c butter flavored Crisco½  c soft butter-Cream together, then add;2 eggs2 3/4 c flour2 tsp cream of tartar1 tsp baking soda1/4 tsp saltDirections:Directions:Preheat oven to 375.Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls roll in sugar/cinnamon mixture. Place about 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.Bake 10-15 minutes or until centers are set. Remove from cookie sheet to cool.
