MY MOM's PEANUT BLOSSOMS

This was my mother's favorite holiday cookie!Ingredients:Ingredients:1 c shortening1 c peanut butter1 c packed brown sugar1 c white sugar  -Cream these 4 ingredientsAdd:Add:2 eggs1/4 c milk2 tsp vanilla  -Mix until smoothAdd:Add:2 tsp baking soda1 tsp salt3 1/2 c flour  -Mix well Directions:Directions:Preheat oven to 375F.Form mixture into balls and roll in sugar.  Place on baking sheets 2" apart.Bake 10-12 minutes in preheated oven.Remove from oven and immediately place a chocolate kiss or chocolate star in center of each cookie. Then remove cookies from the pan and allow to cool completely.
