Welcome to our web site
4B FARM is adjacent to the Uwharrie National Forest in central North Carolina. It is family owned and operated by Larry and Helen Blackburn. We have 43 stalls, 34 single corrals, electric hookups, a bathhouse, a small tack shop to replace forgotten and broken items, and an ice cream stand with dipped ice cream. We are family oriented and do not allow alcoholic beverages on the premises. We also have church services in the barn on Sunday morning at 8:30. Come as you are!! Everyone is welcome!
There are 42 miles of mapped and marked trails, as well as many others not currently mapped or marked. The trails are rated easy to difficult and meander through the forest, by the lake, along the river, and to scenic peaks in the forest. Some of the trails are flat and sandy while others are rocky and steep. We suggest your mount be fully shod prior to coming.
For those joining you who may not ride but enjoy other outside activities, the forest also has 20 miles of designated ORV trails in another section of the forest and there is a lake for fishing, swimming, and boating 2.5 miles from the farm. The forest is also open to bicycles and hikers.
For those joining you who may choose other leisure activities, the North Carolina Zoo is within 30 minutes of the farm. The area is also rich with crafters and potters. More information about these shops can be obtained from the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. The Concord Mills Mall is within an hour of the farm, and we are centrally located between Charlotte, Greensboro, and Winston Salem for more shopping opportunities.
